Ryan Kavanaugh: The Backbone of the Entertainment Industry


Hollywood is a very big place and the people working within its boundary are even bigger in number. One such person who has been acting as a major contributor to the American entertainment industry in the form a successful producer is Ryan Kavanaugh. His vision and ideology pertaining to the filmmaking have resulted in most of his movies to become commercial hits.

Talking about his contributions, he is the founder of an American media company, Relativity Media. Moreover, his talent as a financer is admirable and makes him one of the pillars of the movie industry. Furthermore, his finance efforts are in direct relation with various leading movies studios including Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures. At the mere age of 36, he has already produced over 30 movies. Presently, he is working for the Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.

While working with the Universal Studios, Ryan Kavanaugh has been cited as a great partner by Ron Meyer, who was the president of the Universal Studios at that time. His ability to make commitments and completing them within the specified time is looked upon by many entertainment companies. For producing movies, he follows the Moneyball approach, which is one of the major success factors for him.

Apart from being the 25th highest grossing producer of the Hollywood, Ryan Kavanaugh is also an active philanthropist. His notable philanthropy projects involve the acquisition and funding of a dog rescuing organization named as FreeHand. Moreover, he has also been honored with the 2010 Hollywood Humanitarian Award by the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for his tremendous efforts in the charitable work.
